MARIJA BRIEDE, Head of Pharmacovigilance, QPPV, Grindeks

Being passionate about drug safety, Maria worked in pharmacovigilance more than 15 years, as an officer and then as Head of division and QPPV.

This year Grindeks made a “rebranding” of the division, added more functions to the team and now Maria’s team is called “Medical affairs”. Most of work is still pharmacovigilance, but they slightly add all types of external medical communication.
